Hello! Im Bec from Bec Rose Photography
Im a 40 year old mother of 3 boys and live on the South Coast of NSW in a small coastal town called Callala Beach.
I started my journey in Photography back in 1993 when I majored in Photography during my Fine Arts Degree. During my degree I was offered a position at Walt Disney Television Animation as a Painter and left to pursue this role for a number of years before having my first son. When I was ready to go back into the workforce I worked part time in the corporate sector with TABCORP.
As it worked out I would end up staying with this company in varying roles for around 19 years, indulging in my love of photography in my free time.
Sadly after losing my mum at the young age of 56 to a very aggressive cancer I began to question what was important to me. I resigned from the corporate world running 3 businesses and decided to follow my dreams and pursue my photography on a professional level.
I have never looked back...

I love the transformation that can come out in a person when they get to have their image taken, I love the excitement when they see their beautiful images.

I am passionate about everyday people having a moment of feeling special, feeling as beautiful on the outside as they know they are on the inside. Being able to capture their personality in a quick shot is amazing!

As a mother of 3 boys I know how stressful it can be as a parent having their childrens photos taken, I know that the expectations and desires can quite often not be met. With that knowledge I have created a child friendly studio with toys and large screen tv for movies to keep kids distracted (& sometimes bribed) to join in for a quick photo or 2 with mum or dad and their quite often disliked siblings... I like to make the experience fun for them and easy for their parents.

Im always honored when a family chooses me to participate in a little time with them, to share in a few moments and capture them. Providing them with a return ticket to moments otherwise gone.
